We are excited to announce the creation of the Cami Barnes Scholarship Foundation, to provide individual scholarships and mentorship to deserving women survivors of trauma.  Our mission is to empower and support women survivors of trauma on their journey towards healing and academic success.  Through our scholarship fund, we aim to provide educational opportunities that foster resilience, self-empowerment, and personal growth.  By investing in their education, we believe in cultivating a brighter future, where these survivors can transform their past experiences into sources of strength and inspiration.

Qualifications:

• Woman survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and/or sex trafficking.
• Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate level, bachelors degree program at an accredited University located in the state of Georgia or Ohio.
• Funds must be used for educational purposes and will be sent to directly to the University for processing. 
• Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA for the semester prior to application submission.
• Must complete the entirety of the application process which consists of an essay 2-3 pages long in APA format, telling us about you, your journey to overcome challenges, and why you should be selected for the scholarship funds.
• Must be willing to participate in an interview with our selection committee once your essay makes it past the initial submission process.
• Must be willing to participate in a 1:1 lunch meeting (in person) with Cami Barnes and be highlighted as a scholar on our website and social media pages.

Scholarship Details:

• Recipients will be selected each semester to receive $1,000 in scholarship funds to be applied towards their college expenses.
• Each recipient will be invited to a 1:1 lunch meeting with Cami Barnes, will be highlighted as a scholar on our website and social media pages.
• Each recipient will have access to additional mentoring & coaching opportunities with Cami Barnes.
